My truest enemy

is nestled inside you

green and yellow and sticky

We are both green

as I watch her fill your
 lungs and throat

Run her jealous fingers
 through your hair

Drape herself

sloth and sultry

across your bed.

I want to hold you tighter than
 she ever could,

kiss your sweaty cheeks and

hear your snores in my ear

But instead I watch

flacid and helpless

from the foot of your bed
 While she kisses you

in the cold streetlight
that leaks through 4am
